Islam, political power
In America we have rights, and one of those rights is the ability to worship whoever we
want to. This is protected under the constitution. But there is a question that arises when one of
the religions that is protected under the constitution is more of a political power and ideology
than a religion. Raises the problem with Islam. Islam in itself is more of a political party then a
religion which is very dangerous.
Weakest position
The weakest position in the issue of Islam is the fact that it masquerades as the religion of
peace and because of that it is constitutional because of the fact that it is considered a religion of
peace while in the Quran there are verses that are very anti peace and even sinuate for violence
and terrorism. Q4:95 says to strike terror into the hearts of enemies and the ones that Allah does
not know which in itself is a call to war some would say.
Supporting evidence
One of the poets that Islam is not constitutional is when you look deeply into Sharia law.
This law which is big in the Islamic religion is unconstitutional for many reasons and one of the
reasons is that in their religion women are not allowed to do as much as men and do not have the
same position as men well under the constitution we are able to have the same respect both men
and women. In this religion there is also a freedom from cruel punishments that are a result of
terrorism. Jihad is also called the holy war and if anything is considered a war there is a most
likely political purpose for that war.
Heading Three
When citing any quote or text that consists of three or more lines, APA guidelines call for
block-quote format:
Create a new paragraph to begin the block-quote. Double-space each line of text, as you
have done with headings, section labels, and paragraphs of paraphrased text. To correctly
format a block-quote, indent each line of the text to one-half inch. Remember to always
cite your source.
Last Name (Year) citations can be used when writing a paper in narrative form. Parenthetical
citations are also appropriate (Last Name, Year).
Heading Four: When using headings, don’t skip levels. If you need a heading 3, 4, or 5
with no text following it before the next heading, just add a period at the end of the heading and
start a new paragraph for the subheading and its text.
Heading Five. Like all sections of your paper, references start on their own page, like the
page that follows this one. All in-text citations should be included your references.
