War on Drugs in PleasantvilleAs the newly elected Mayor of Pleasantville, I will be proposing a
policy for the war ondrugs, concentrating on the juvenile population. Many juveniles are
currently selling and/orusing drugs and we need to implement some prevention and intervention
programs to combat theproblem. My proposal will implement the Drug Abuse Resistance
Education (D.A.R.E) programin all the public schools, provide more funds to the police
department to dedicate to the war ondrugs, and implement inpatient and outpatient treatment
programs within the community.
