sometimes it can be difficult to discern where God is leading you in ministry even
if you have prior ministry experience or are currently serving in an area He is
leading you out of. Every experience is a step in preparing for your future ministry
role. The most important thing is you have accepted the challenge of preparing
yourself for ministry. Allen says the call to ministry comes with a call to prepare.
This is true of the church from the beginning of its existence. “The call to ministry
is a call to prepare, and ministry preparation is as old as the church itself.”[1]
Christian students at Liberty University are being prepared for ministry at the
highest levels and you a part of that. You have accepted the call to prepare to be
used wherever God sees fit and that is the most important step in this process. I
wish you the best with your future in ministry and know if you remain willing, God
will reveal your ministry destiny in His time.
