I really and truly loved your transparency about doubting your calling. I believe
that we all find ourselves here at times. There is no doubt in my mind that this
has continually happened to me over the past three years. Even as God has
opened more and more doors for me to go through, I have lacked the
confidence to believe for more. The statement below is what caught my eye in
Allen's book.
"Yet, for me, God's call went beyond His summons to salvation. Over the next
three years I increasingly sensed His call to ministry as well." Allen (2016). c
I always thought that you just went into ministry, but after careful years of
studying the Lord and understanding spiritual things as it relates to the Holy
Spirit I now know that you must be led by God into ministry. Because where
God guides He provides. I will always hold true to this. As we study scripture
and lives of Moses, Daniel, Noah, and Abraham, we can see that when God
does the directing He also does the protecting. When we get ahead of God bad
things are bound to happen.
