JOB S A IEARCH SSIGNMENT NSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
The student has the option in this assignment to complete either a speaking project (sermon or
Bible study), a ministry project (outreach project, evangelistic lock-in, family fun night, etc.), or
job search application (or application for doctoral work). The purpose of this assignment is to
continue practice leading in ministry either through biblical teaching, a ministry event, or help
secure a ministry job (or pursue further education in doctoral work). The student will plan and
minister in conjunction with his/her site supervisor (and other ministry leaders, if applicable).
This project will help grow congregants in their Bible knowledge or help grow them in their
service as the student coordinates a ministry project. If the job search or doctoral program option
is selected, the student will seek to gain more ministry/educational experience for future ministry
opportunities.
INSTRUCTIONS

course:
Speaking project—the student will need to schedule and speak in a church setting
(worship setting, Bible study, or the like).
