Divorce

In
any
walk
of
life
there
will
be
challenges
that
are
faced,
conflicts
that
appear,
and
overall
unpredictable
situations.
Today
there
are
a
growing
number
of
diversities
that
can
affect
the
home
life
of
the
family
unit.
'Principal
family
units
in
Biblical
times
consisted
of
father,
mother,
and
children
who
were
a
product
created
from
love
given
as
a
gift
from
God.
Family
units
are
designed
for
the
purpose
of
God
as
he
is
the
head
of
all
creation,
the
husband
is
the
head
of
the
unit
who
provides
plus
protects
the
family,
and
the
mother
who
is
the
teacher
plus
nurture
of
the
unit
tending
to
all
the
needs
in
family.
Since
the
fall
of
humanity,
the
compositions
of
family
units
have
dramatically
changed,
and
the
roles
of
the
household
have
changed.
Family
units
are
mostly
composed
of
single
parents
due
to
the
factors
of
separation,
divorce,
and
imprisonment
of
one
are
both
parents.
Single
parent
homes
are
a
direct
result
of
the
sinful
nature
of
humanity,
a
brokenness
in
our
own
images we
create
of
ourselves
and
are
confounded
with
issues
designed
to
contribute
to
the
destruction
of
the
family.
Parenting
issues
of
the
unit
deal
with
spiritual
awareness,
communication
plus
relationship,
and
the
need
to
cope
with
life
griefs.
Evidence
provided
will
show
the
relation
between
single
parenting,
finding
balance,
maintain
spirituality,
by
redirecting,
reconstruction,
and
reconciling
unity
in
God.

Single
Parent
Households
Issues
Single
parent
household
issues
can
be
related
to
parents
separating,
divorcing,
and
even
going
to
jail
for
various
reasons.
Situations
like
these
leave
a
family
torn
and
unsure
of
what
direction
to
take.
The
effects
can
even
become
like
a
ripple
effect trickling
downward
and
taking
effect
on
the
children.
Life
changes
can
cause
children
to
have
developmental
issues
2(Hartnett
et
al.,
2016a)
in
relationships,
cause
emotional
instabilities,
and
can
be
seen
in
the
adult
years
of
their
lives.
The
family
unit
structure
will
develop
problems
in
the
areas
of
finically
stability,
communication
difficulties,
behaviors
without
boundaries,
and
the
spiritual
aspect
can
become
blurred.
The
need
to
redesign
the
family
unit
is
most
urgent
depending
on
the
factors
of
how
this
change
will
affect
the
family.
Restructuring
the
unit
of
the
family
will
need
to
include
communication
with
the
immediate
members
of
household,
setting
guidelines
plus
boundaries
for
each
member,
and
the
need
for
counseling
plus
involving
other
family
members
may
be
need
in
this
process.
Reconsolidation
of
spiritual
guidance
is
needed,
encouraged,
and
is
a
major
key
factor
in
the
stability
of
the
family.
In
finding
direction
for
the
family
will
bring
clarity
and
purpose
into
the
family
unity,
making
the
household
a
stable
productive
unit.
In
the
aspects
of
issues
inside
the
single
parenting
unit,
research
will
examine
the
following
elements
measuring
2
(Achtergarde
et
al.,
2015b;
Hartnett
et
al.,
2016b)
their
impact
on
the
family.
First
is
effective
communication
as
a
parent,
delegations
of
responsibilities
in
the
family,
and
seeking
appropriate
resources
for
the
family.
Then
planning
the
actions
needed
in
addressing
concerns
of
3
(Achtergarde
et
al.,
2015a),
mental,
physical
health
and
spiritual
concerns
to
alleviate
any
barriers
in
family.
Finally,
but
more
important
is
developing
a
connection
with
a
higher
power
a
personal
relationship
with
God.
Effective
communication
skills
with
family
members
concerning
divorce
or
imprisonment
and
the
reasons
why.
Is
important
in
the
aspect
of
keeping
the
lines
of
functionality
in
the
unit.*
Being
able
to
openly
talk
to
each
other
and
provide
clear
honesty
is
needed
to
maintain
relationships
closeness
plus
allows
for
lines
of
authority
to
be
maintained.
In
dealing
with
topics
on
divorce
or
imprisonment
a
parent
needs
to
be
open,
state
the
facts
with
as
much
simplicity
as
needed
depending
on
the
ages
of
the
children,
and
allow
them
to
ask
questions.
