Introduction
Modern business relies on the global supply chain, which connects manufacturers,
suppliers, and consumers. Successful organizations need efficient supply chain management
(SCM) to reduce costs, improve customer happiness, and boost competitiveness. However,
several obstacles can interrupt supply networks, causing major company problems.
Problem Statement
Technology and innovation leader Apple Inc. relies on an elaborate multinational supply
chain. Political instability, trade disputes, and regulatory changes threaten this supply chain.
Disruptions can raise expenses and delay production, damaging consumer satisfaction and the
company's bottom line (Raja Santhi & Muthuswamy, 2022). The problem statement for this
Study is: How does geopolitical instability impact Apple Inc.'s supply chain, and what strategies
can be implemented to mitigate these effects?
Sample
The sample will include Apple Inc.'s supply chain managers, who handle the company's
operations and can shed light on geopolitical instability issues. Apple's component suppliers and
manufacturers can explain how global events affect their ability to meet Apple's requests.
Industry analysts, supply chain management professionals, and geopoliticians can help explain
trends and mitigate disruptions (Abideen et al., 2021). Financial reports, news articles,6and
industry reports will be studied to supplement qualitative data and create a complete picture.
Research Paradigm
This Study will use mixed methods, including qualitative and quantitative research. This
method is suitable since it allows for multifaceted problem examination. Apple Inc.'s supply

chain managers, suppliers, and industry experts will be interviewed in-depth for qualitative
research on the challenges and solutions. Thematic analysis will identify themes and patterns in
these interviews. Quantitative research will survey more Apple and supplier supply chain
professionals to assess the impact of global instability. Statistical examination of financial
records and industry data will also assess Apple's supply chain performance.
Bias as it Relates to the Study
Bias can dramatically impact study validity and reliability. Selection, responder, and
researcher biases may affect this Study. Participants with specific opinions or experiences may
not represent the population, causing selection bias. This can be minimized by selecting diverse
and random people. Response bias may occur if individuals give socially desirable replies or
withhold sensitive information owing to confidentiality concerns (Kock et al., 2021). To reduce
this, anonymized surveys and interviews will ensure that participants feel comfortable submitting
honest information.
Leading Theory to Use as a Lens
The Resource-Based View (RBV) theory will guide this Study. RBV emphasizes a
company's strategic resources and its competitive value. RBV can examine how Apple Inc.'s
supply chain can manage geopolitical instability using its unique resources and competencies.
This approach will help Apple identify strategic resources, including technology capability,
supplier relationships, and financial strength to manage supply chain interruptions (Lubis, 2022).
Biblical Integration
Stewardship can be applied to supply chain management from a biblical perspective. The
Bible emphasizes prudent and careful resource management. In the Parable of the Talents
(Matthew 25:14-30), Jesus emphasizes wise stewardship of our resources. As a custodian of a

complex supply chain network, Apple Inc. must manage its resources and relationships with
integrity and foresight. Peace and reconciliation (Matthew 5:9) can also help navigate
geopolitical upheaval. A global leader, Apple can support peace and stability through ethical
corporate practices and international partnerships.
Conclusion
Multinational corporations like Apple Inc. struggle with supply chain management due to
geopolitical uncertainty. This Study uses a robust problem statement, a diverse sample, a mixed-
methods research paradigm, bias mitigation, and the Resource-Based View theory to examine
how geopolitical instability affects Apple's supply chain and identify ways to mitigate its effects.
Biblical ideas of stewardship and reconciliation emphasize ethical and responsible global supply
chain management to solve these concerns holistically.
