This article examines Behavioral finance and its impact on psychology on the behavior of
market participants and their market outcomes and particularly focusing how decisions
are made by individual investors. Behavioral finance interprets and focus on specific
information.
The article notes that behavioral is a new paradigm seeking to acknowledge and predict
systematic financial market decision-making. (Olsen, )1998
Furthermore, the study note that behavioral finance theories that decision making which
is based on comprehensible psychology are subjected to many cognitive illusions. It also
notes that behavioral finance form part of empirical economics which incorporates
cognitive psychology with traditional economic and finance theory and is an endorsement
