Case Study: CleanBody Organics
Job analysis is a vital human resource function that involves a systematic examination of
the activities within a job. It's a core part of human resource management that helps to identify
what a job entails and what employee characteristics are necessary to perform these duties
successfully. The data collected through job analysis is fundamental for developing job
descriptions, job specifications, and performance standards. It also plays an important role in
recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and compensation management. Essentially, job
analysis is the foundation upon which employment decisions are made, ensuring that the right
people are matched with the right jobs (Judge & Kammeyer-Mueller, 2021).
CleanBody Organics is planning an expansion of organic personal care products by
distributing its products in co-ops and organic grocery stores. Their focus is on cultural values
and employee motivation. CEO, Even Libertine's decision to conduct a job rewards analysis is a
strategic move that aligns with the company's growth objectives. By analyzing the roles of
customer consultant, product development manager, and production worker, CleanBody
Organics can ensure that each position is rewarding and fulfilling, thus attracting and retaining
top performers (Judge & Kammeyer-Mueller, 2021).

where a warm greeting, a genuine smile, or a display of empathy can significantly enhance the
customer experience. This human element of service is often influenced by a satisfactory service,

2023). Customer interaction roles are essential in maintaining the relationship between a
business and its customers. These positions often involve providing essential information to
customers, addressing their regular inquiries regarding products and services, and resolving any
general complaints they may have. The focus is on providing reliable information and support,
ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. A customer service representative role typically
attracts individuals with enterprising, social, and conventional interests. Such a position requires
a person who is not only reliable but also has strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and
the ability to adhere to structured processes. In the field of customer service, cultural values are
essential in shaping the interactions between representatives and clients. A strong customer
service culture is based on values that prioritize customer satisfaction and experience, creating a

the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (King James
Bible, 1769/2019, Colossians 3:23-24). This verse encourages me to give wholehearted effort in
