This paper elaborates on the concept of individual career commitment and the
organizational commitment of employees. The focused input for this study bases itself
on the perceived organizational support (POS). It is important for the employees to feel
that the organization has their best interest in mind as well as the best interests of the
company. This will alter the attitudes of the employees and improve their performance in
the organization. The benefits of this topic enhance the company as well as the employee
for overall job satisfaction and company performance. Organizational commitment and
personal development are key success factors in developing and sustaining an
organization. This is one of the most important features of the training opportunities
policy. The atmosphere of a mutual benefit for employees to better themselves while
bettering the company is a key to successful training policies within any organization,
large or small. The ultimate goal of the organization should be to align its training goals
with the goals of the individual employee’s career goals.

This article deliberates on the importance and necessity of job safety and the individual
job safety analysis (JSA) conducted for each individual job. The construction and
mechanical service industries contain hazards and risks not associated with many other

industries. This study investigates the use of the job safety analysis and how they must
be completed before each job so to incorporate specific hazards that the employees could
face on any given day. Job safety should be of utmost importance for organizations and
employees, this often includes a mandatory dress code to be observed by all employees
for safety reasons. Personal protective gear is part of the dress code and is not a
negotiable policy. Employers must insist on certain dress code requirements at certain
times and places. This will protect both the employee and the company from injury or
the loss of employees and unnecessary costs related to accidents and job-related
misfortunes.

This article is an exstensive study on the impact that training programs has on employee
job satisfaction. It investigates the attitudes that employees of the lumber industry in the
country of Romania have regarding the training that is afforded to them. The results of
the study proclaim that it is necessary to offer high quality training which enhances
overall job satisfaction. Over 200 surveys were sent out to various employees from
different companies. The results give us a clear picture of the importance of training on
job satisfaction. The human resources policy on training can have an effect on job
satisfaction. Training can be benificial for employees in the areas of safety, advancement
and overall individual career enhancement. It has a positive impact on performance,
quality and consistency throughout an organization. Training policies increase the

bottom line for companies that engage in them and as a result employee satisfaction leads
to low turnover, high morale and quality work.

This article explains the advancements in technology that are unique and reveal the
effects of information technology as it relates to business advantage, focusing on

research the authors gathered data and information from over 100 executives from
various organizations. It is imperative in the business world today to stay on top of
technology or corporations will be left behind. The technology policy is set forth in the
company to maintain and improve customer service as well as hold the advantage over
the competition. This is also a way to impress customers and to improve customer
retention and loyalty. Maintaining the competitive advantage and setting the company
apart from the competition is a key factor in the success of any company. Policies on
technology will ensure that the employees and the company are set up for success,
customer loyalty and brand recognition.

This article highlights the importance of professionalism in any organization and can be
applied to non-profit or for-profit entities. The article establishes the history of codes of
conduct as they have related to the non-profit sector. Emphasizing the need for self-
regulation, codes of conduct and ethical standards for employees. Professionalism is a
key component of the code of conduct policy. Employees should focus on maintaining
professional conduct at work for their continual improvement and their representation of
the company. This is an important facet to the code of conduct policy and should be
adhered to both on and off the job. In most situations an employee represents the
organization that they are employed by whether they are on the job or not.
Professionalism is a key factor in the success of an organization which is one of the
reasons that these policies are put into place. Many corporations establish policies that
affect the employee off the clock which involve drug use and driving records.
Professionalism should also be a policy that should be adhered to at all times.

can be useful in other organizations and service providers who incorporate technology

organization. The article considers both knowledge resources as well as technology

technology policy is in effect for this reason and to improve the quality of work and the
speed that the work can be performed. This article highlights the advantages that a
technology policy can have on an organization. This information was used to highlight
the impact technology has on the organization.

The importance of employee appearance is discussed in this article, and how it has
become more significant in recent years. A survey was conducted using 12 human
resource managers and the reports that they filed. There may be certain times or
occasions for a certain dress code. The way employees present themselves at work and
how they dress can create customer perceptions of the company. This is a positive reason
for employees to comply with professional standards in the dress code policy. Regardless
of the organization or the industry, the way that the employees dress has direct
ramifications on the employee morale, customer perceptions, safety, and profitability of

an organization. The results of the study concluded that there was a positive impact on
self-perception and customer perception for those companies that maintained a
professional work attire. Dress code policies are in place to create an atmosphere of
professionalism and pride in the organization, and the proof is in the customer loyalty that

The importance of leadership and training is emphasized in this article in relation to
employees in the service industry. It reviews several attempted policies and proceedures
regarding the employees training and leadership responsibilities. The research conducted
surveys in the Polish service industry sector to determine the level of personal
improvement and training those surveyed felt they had access to. Personal improvement
and training will keep the employees up to speed on policies, safety and the furthering of
their education. It will increase employee and customer loyalty. This will benefit both
the company and the employee regarding the training policy. Leadership and training are
vital to any organization’s foundation. In order to grow, maintain profitability and a
competitive advantage training should be of utmost importance. Specific and detailed
training policies must be clear to all employees to both empower them, increase loyalty,
motivation and increase the bottom line of the organization.

that must be followed daily. Safety instructions, filling out paperwork and procedures
that must be adhered to by all personnel. This will set standards in the organization
which will in turn improve employee loyalty and commitment through the code of
conduct policy. This information can be applied to any organization that wants to
standardize policies that will be adhered to by all employees. This article will be
beneficial in explaining the need for policies and procedures in the workplace. The
successful organization must have a standard operating procedure for all employees to
follow. This will ensure that quality and consistency are established for the employees.

story in the business world today. Human resource policies are enacted in organizations
to establish a foundation for training, safety, and to increase the probability of success for
a company. The focus for Walmart as it is highlighted in this study are the main points of
cost and quality. This is a policy that can be incorporated into any organizational
structure to potentially repeat the success that is evident in the Walmart example.
