Amy you did a great job answering both questions. In response to your first question you
answered this sufficiently using a great source from out textbook Managing Economics. You
thoroughly explained the main risks involving exporters and what they face in foreign exchange.
In response to your views on payday loans we are in agreement in regards to the interest being
disgustingly high. It is definitely a trap for consumers to pay greedy loan companies extra
money. I do disagree with the verse you coincided for not allowing poor people pay interest. If
people are extremely poor they should be more reserved to apply for a payday loan especially
with the interest being high. It would be unconstitutional to have certain consumers pay interest
and not everyone else. I believe it is vital to keep the economy running smoothly and to keep
businesses such as loan companies profitable. To be reasonable I think interest rates could vary
depending on the individual’s income and/or the usual amount of paycheck.
