FedEx Corp employs nearly 40,000 employees and is a globally marketed company that
services more than 220 countries in addition to North America (FedEx Corp, 2013). FedEx Corp
recently acquired the European company TNT Express that further expands the companys
market. The acquisition of TNT Express in addition to the standing global marketing strategy
implemented in over 220 countries and North America in conjunction with various transportation
methods, Advanced Information Technology systems and empowering individual business unit

cohesiveness play a vital role in the FedEx Corp industry position. The aforementioned data
factors promulgate an effective competitive edge in relation to other competitors within the
courier, logistics and transportation industries (Birla, 2005). When evaluating the measurable
growth revenue spanning from fiscal year 2010 through fiscal 2016, each year, FedEx Corp has
had an increase in revenue (FedEx Corp, 2013). In 2010, the fiscal year revenue capped at
34,734 and in 2016, capped at 50,365. This gradual yearly incremental increase in revenue is
consistent with the global expansion and FedEx Corp’s overall success. FedEx Corp’s economic
outlook of the company is positive. The company anticipates increases in volume and shipping
demand based on sound projections. In evaluating FedEx Corp’s Stock Reports, the Earnings per
Share per year are higher in 2016 than in previous years listed dating back to 2010. The
compound annual growth rate has increased over 3.6% over the past 10 year time span. FedEx
Corp has over 12,601 stockholders who have a voice in offering effective ideas (Birla, 2005).
Because of FedEx Corp listening to their share holder and employees, the Profit Improvement
Program was implemented and is scheduled to have a completion of improvement processes by
Fiscal Year 2016. FedEx Corp is listed as a 5 star strong buy company. All of information
provides a snapshot as to why an investor should consider investing in the FedEx Corp.
