Stakeholders
Our stakeholders will be invited to our product demonstration so they can see
what their company is about to launch. This will be an opportunity to generate excitement
Abstract
Cash flow is essential to a company's survival. The company must have sufficient
cash readily available to ensure that creditors, employees and others can be paid on time.
Cash flow can be defined as, “a measure of an organization's liquidity that usually
consists of net income after taxes plus noncash charges against income.” (Merriam-
Webster, n.d.). This post will discuss a scenario where funds need to be obtained with
minimal cash flow and an industry changing product in the pipeline two years from
launch.
Obtaining Funds
This new product is an industry changer. Companies will need to incorporate our
product into their business to keep up with status quo. Knowing this fact, there should not
be a problem finding investment capital through venture capitalists. If we have a
prototype of our product that can demonstrate why it will change the industry, our suitors
will be abundant. In today’s economy, investors are looking for a sure investment. Our
company needs to hold a demonstration of a prototype of how much our product can do
now as well as what our product will be able to do when completed. “Empirical research
in the United States has shown indeed that venture capital can importantly enhance the
ability of new firms to create wealth and jobs.” (Keuschnigg, 2004).
and confidence about their investment. It also might probe stakeholders to invest
more funding. With more investment comes more passion. This passion is something
that will drive our company to succeed.
Biblical Reference
In James 2:18 (ESV) it says, “But someone will say, “You have faith and I have
works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by
my works.” We must have faith in our God to bless our works. If we trust that we are
working for God and not man He will bless us on our path.
