The cost of healthcare in the United States increases where an individual gets
deemed to spend $456 on health insurance and $1,152 for a family. With various
legislations in place, the government facilitates the need to reduce healthcare costs
significantly. Bendicksen et al. (2021) imply that subsidizing healthcare is a fundamental
component that the public gets oriented to receive quality healthcare. To curb the rising
cost of health care, the policy of prescription drug pricing gets adopted. It is a legislative
policy that Congress initiates to reduce health care costs and consider the dynamic of
increasing competition. Kirchhoff et al. (2018) indicate that it is a pathway through which
legislation facilitates the achievement of price transparency, balance billing protection,
and prescription drug price controls. Generally, it is substantial to comprehend that
healthcare reaps positively by providing a leveled guideline on the price of various
prescriptions. It denotes the embrace of the biblical value of ensuring that everyone
receives compassion as conducted by Jesus Christ by healing many people for free.
The importance of prescription drug pricing includes the creation of 'adequate
generic competition.' This faction portends to contribute little reliance on the distinct
market forces that facilitate the creation of diversified pricing in various prescriptions. The
health care quality denotes to increase under this appropriation as it encourages a unified
approach of providing the different healthcare services. The unanimous passing of the
policy is a legislative context that will help the U.S. government lower its healthcare
expenditure. Bendicksen et al. (2021) show that America leads in areas concerning health
care provision. The policy will affect increased generic competition and promote the
attribute of reducing the pressure in healthcare. Quality patient care generates from the
stance of generic competition. Sklar & Robertson (2019) stipulates that patients portend
to receive a healthier diagnosis and live fulfilling lives under that scope of prescription
drug pricing. The importance of competition is increased efficiency as gleaned.
Prescription drug pricing portends to lower the cost of healthcare provision. It is a
dimension that entails the attribute of doing away with any emergent medical issues. The
scope of negotiating with the manufacturers and unilateral price setting benefits the print
and the government valiantly. The U.S. has developed various perspectives to facilitate an
increased dimension of solving the multiple challenges related to reducing the cost of
healthcare. It is the goal of the government to be able to save money and provide quality
healthcare. By the government granting monopolies to the drug companies, the cost of a
prescription drug has gone high. It is a thank you to the insurance companies that facilitate
the dimension of the scope of deterring the patients' price. Through this legislative policy,
generic competition will make the provision of particular services essential. The
recommendation to revise the policy is necessary as this incline to achieve quality and
affordable healthcare. The public must get accorded the power to negotiate in the market.
By subsiding the cost of prescription drugs, the government inclines to avail affordable
services for everyone (Sklar & Robertson, 2019).

Subject: Prescription Drug Pricing Revision
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you of the need to revise the prescription drug pricing.
To achieve 'generic competition,' I believe the government must consider developing
various initiatives that guide the drug manufacturers. The liberty accorded the drug
manufacturers and insurance in determining how much patients have to pay for the
prescriptions is essential. This, however, does not favor all Americans that seek quality
health services. The low-income and middle-income earners must get accommodated to
facilitate the provision of healthcare for all.
Government subsidies incline to play an integral role in ensuring that the prescription drug
pricing gets met. It is facilitation that includes ensuring that drug manufacturers produce
at a cost-efficient level and the patients attain the chance to negotiate for quality care. The
need to curb the rising cost of healthcare can get achieved by the government determining
the prices of prescriptions and subsidizing their production. It is critical to comprehend
that market forces play an integral role in prescription price control. Still, with necessary
reforms, health care costs and quality services will take a positive turn. With the
legislators’ endorsement, this standard must get realized.
I wish to draw attention to the need to receive the legislative authority to facilitate quality
health care through policy revision. Hopefully, you will support the policy to resolve the
issue of healthcare's rising cost. Thank you.
Yours Sincerely,
