Definition
Managerial commitment is the direct involvement by the highest management level in the
specific and critically relevant aspects like safety, security, quality, and environment or other
programs in a given organization.
Summary
Senior management commitment is very important. Every organization must set out from
a high development of real priority. Leaders should be intelligent people and know how to act as
role models. However, it is hard for managers to commit enough attention and time to
organizational development (Newing, 2017). From the research presented in this article, at least
61% of most organizations worldwide view talent management as integral to business survival.
At least 70% of managers always feel the need to change leadership. From the survey,
managerial commitment is a rare behavior, and most leaders do not acknowledge how important
time and commitment is to the success of the business.
Discussion
This article relates to the term managerial commitment since it explains in-depth the role
of managers, especially managerial commitment, from the understanding that many
organizations do not view managerial commitment as an issue. Still, there must be ideas of
growth as well as professional development (Newing, 2017). It is also very important to
comprehend that transferring the present managers to operate new foreign activities might not be

a good strategy to adopt since the best managers to operate these activities is a more experienced
and exposed individual to managerial commitment.
