FAITH INTEGRATION PAPER: WISDOM IN BUSINESS ANALYTICS 2
Abstract
Christian leaders have a significant influence on the globe. They are not only accountable for
obeying God, but they are also accountable for guiding others to Him. With that level of
responsibility comes a perpetual state of flux. Technology and social media have presented
continual challenges to this leadership. Millennials leave the church in droves, and leaders are
scrambling to find methods to entice them back. Christian leaders may benefit from business
analytics. It will assist executives in keeping up with contemporary business practices and
gaining deeper knowledge. For Christian leaders, gaining knowledge is critical, and this is one
method to do it. This write-up outlines an analysis of Christian leadership and the importance of
gaining business analytics-related wisdom on the church leadership. The paper will also describe
the relationship of business analytics to discipleship, the application of business analytics in
making sound judgments, its application in problem-solving, and the integration of the activities
through biblical teachings.

Market analytics is described as breaking down data to obtain helpful information that
can be used to make better business decisions. Trends and patterns can be defined by data
analysis, potential events can be forecasted, and the optimal outcomes can be identified by the
use of research and other approaches in business analytics. The church is one of the world's most
leadership-intensive organizations. The church, as an organization, lacks both the financial
incentives and the legitimacy that corporate executives enjoy (Ahmed & Pathan, 2018). The
church is entirely reliant on its leadership abilities. The church is entirely dependent upon its
leadership abilities. Christian executives should use business intelligence to analyze data and
develop the best possible results.
Solutions Offered by Business Analytics
As a Christian leader, this does not imply that you have all the solutions, but you do have
the luxury of finding support from other sources and individuals. According to the Bible,
someone who refuses good advice will eventually fail in their dreams, while someone who
follows good advice will succeed. For a Christian leader, market analytics wisdom is essential
because it can provide visibility into areas with gaps, potentially leading to opportunities by
inspired intervention. People have been known to knowingly or subconsciously adapt their
emotions to the knowledge they have. The more detail available, the higher one's chances of
matching responses are. When one is given facts, they typically act on them (Merida, 2015). For
example, when one knows the weather forecast, they usually adapt their clothes to it.
A doctor will foresee diseases using biology and a family's past, helping them react to
preventative treatment. As a Christian leader, data from market analytics will aid them in

developing approaches to support the church. For example, suppose the evidence shows that
church members are more likely to split. In that case, a pastor can schedule a series of sermons
focused on rebuilding partnerships and forming marriage support groups (Bartlett, 2013). As a
Christian leader, one must know their flock to connect them with the appropriate tools and
develop opportunities. It is critical to recognize the data is often predictive.
Business analytics allows for collecting demographics, well-known thoughts, events, and
attitudes, allowing executives to compile data reflecting everyone and acting on it. Churches that
can leverage data from market intelligence would predict areas of pain and distress, allowing
them to have a better understanding of their congregation (Bartlett, 2013). A Christian leader
would cultivate long-term commitment and personal development by using such knowledge to
build their message. Understanding the interests of the congregation and matching those needs to
the most appropriate strategies are central to applying market analytics in the community.
According to Proverbs 3:19, a wise person repeatedly improves their abilities (Merida, 2015).
The verse demonstrates that the more one knows, the better at mixing ideas and taking a positive
approach to ministry.
Relationship to Discipleship
A Christian leader must make a point of reaching out to his or her constituents before
they become unreachable. As participation drops, using market analytics as a platform can help
executives figure out how to reach out to customers more quickly and acknowledge why the
decline is happening. Many people look to financial records to justify using details because
church and organization leaders place a high value on finances. However, it is essential to
remember that several non-financial examples of particulars should be prioritized. It is crucial to
understand that the use of data does not imply that attracting and retaining congregants is

dehumanized. Applying market analytics to the discipleship process can improve the process
while bearing in mind the participants of the church's path (Krishnamoorthi & Mathew, 2018).
Christian leaders may incorporate business intelligence by using data gathered to map out
the direction that congregants follow on the path to discipleship. The use of the steps taken
during the discipleship period will help provide an atmosphere in which people can effectively
take specific actions. This method can be simplified by implementing church management
programs that track people's success in their discipleship journey. Christian leaders will use
analytics to help them find and enhance in-demand outreach and small group offerings
(Krishnamoorthi & Mathew, 2018). This implies the ability of the church to collect information
about what people react to and what makes their church attractive to them, allowing them to
capture their entry points and desires.
As a Christian priest, you must examine the people who attend the church and determine
what drew them in and what appealed to them. Church-sponsored events provide information on
the size of their congregations. If many participants attend a Christian gathering, it is essential to
consider how many people return for the worship service. If the proportion of people returning is
low, the leaders must rethink their plans and determine why the percentages are so low (Ahmed
& Pathan, 2018).
Optimal Judgments
Leaders with wisdom have the advantage of handling problems associated with
leadership. It is critical to recognize that a wise person possesses good judgment and that
wisdom, like sound judgment, is acquired by experience. People adapt and benefit from their
experiences, and those who use sound judgment will still have solutions to challenges, produce

better results, and keep going forward. In a person's professional and personal life, wisdom
inspires honor, contributing to an enduring legacy that a person leaves behind (Merida, 2015).
Insight further improves an individual's capacity to control the opinions and views of others.
As a Christian leader, you should use market intelligence to identify risks and devise a
strategy for exposing them. Analytics isn't all about making money; it's also about fine-tuning a
church's or organization's activities. This assumes that predictive analytics can forecast
maintenance and operations issues before they become significant problems (Ahmed & Pathan,
2018). As a boss, you will be able to prevent outages, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure that
optimum efficiency is maintained at all times.
Conclusion
A Christian leader's market analytics is critical both professionally and personally. At
each stage of their discipleship process, analytics gives a Christian leader the tools to make wise
decisions, create ideas through guided action, and consider the needs and desires of their
community. Wisdom is a powerful tool, and someone who follows wise advice is more likely to
accomplish their goals with their plans. Wisdom also allows for maturity, and practice means no
space for regression at the end.
