Introduction
Business companies require a team of people work together towards the same vision to
for their to be success for the organization. A business requires leaders, managers, employees or
followers to play their role to be successful. These different roles are important in organizations
today because one will not be able to function without the other. Leaders need to take control of
the team and structure a plan to help the organization succeed. Organizations need leaders who
intend to grow the company and give the organization a good reputation. “Leaders are critical to
the process of becoming more sustainable, and yet leading change for sustainability requires new
competencies” (Haney, 2020, para.1). mpanies require leaders to guide the followers in the Co
right direction to set them up for success for the company. When there is no effective leadership
within a business company, there is no structure and no guidance for the organization.
Leadership a trait people can be taught, but acquiring this skill requires the person to possess a is
number traits and qualities that many co anies will look for. This paper will include the three mp
important concepts of leadership and management that are from the Satterlee and Dees reading,
as well as recommendations of change for the concepts displayed.

People who have resilience will help them become a better leader and allows them to understand
