Biblical Worldview in Romans Essay
Romans holds information that is imperative to the foundation of Christians. Romans gives us
information that helps us figure out our daily life for example, how to view and deal with the
natural world, our personalities as people, personal relationships and the civilization and cultures
we live in and around. Everyone needs to read Romans often to keep its message and all the
imperative information Paul wrote because it will help keep the Biblical Worldview foundation
for Christians reinforced. Romans requires for its readers to dig deeper into what was written
inside it. If a reader was to just read over what was written they would not see all the information
that is there.
Romans teaches and reminds every Christian that God is the foundation of the Biblical
Worldview. If God is the foundation of the Biblical Worldview and Romans covers the existence
and attributes of the foundation then Christians should build and strengthen their worldview
through studying Romans in depth. God has many attributes such as Righteousness, Divine,
Immortal, Merciful, Gives Hope, Wrathful, Jude and many more. From Romans chapter one
through chapter 16 Paul writes about each individual attribute that God has and how they work
together to make God the wonderful and mighty God He has been, is and will be forever.

We know the natural world was created by God, unfortunately we are unable to see how the
world was created but in Genesis chapter one we can read about how the world and life itself was
created by God. Christians believe with all their hearts that every part of the Bible is true because
we believe the Bible is directly from God, but was written by the hands of the apostles that were
chosen by God. After Adam and Eve sinned our human nature became sinful, before we are even
born we are programed with the nature of sin. Paul says this about human nature in Romans
3:10-12 “There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none
who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There
is none who does good, no, not one.”[ CITATION Bib1712 \l 1033 ]
Sin entered God’s creation through Satan misleading and deceiving Adam and Eve into eating
the Fruit of the Forbidden Tree in the Garden of Eden. God gave us the ability and presence of
mind to tell what is right and what is wrong and both Adam and Eve knew that if they ate the
fruit they would have disobeyed God. The origin of sin is Satan who used to be an angle in
Heaven until he and his follows because he tried to over throw God, Satan and his followers
were casted out of Heaven. The main consequences of sin are not being able to have a
relationship with God and Jesus, not being able to go to Heaven and having to face God on
Judgment day in Heaven where God’s wrath for un-justice doings will be in full unforgiving
force.
The solution to sin is Jesus Christ who was sent from Heaven down here to earth and bared the
weight of every single human being’s sin on the cross. Just so we could if we were to accept
salvation and believe with all our hearts that our relationship with God would be mended and
that we could have a relationship with Them both again. In 1 Peter 2:24 it says, “who Himself
bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for

righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”[ CITATION Bib1713 \l 1033 ] Christ’s
mission was to minister to Jews and those who were not Jews about God’s truth to lead them
back to the right path to God. Jesus willingly came down to earth knowing exactly what God’s
plan for Him was and even though He knew He was going to die with all of our sin upon His
shoulders, He still followed the plan till it was finished because He loved us so much that He
died in order for us to have a way back to God. If we accept the gift so freely and willingly given
to us we not only have the amazing and powerful mercy and love from God. We also get to have
a relationship with Him and the opportunity to separate from the old sinful flesh of the world and
become a new reborn soul for God.
Paul in Romans 12:19-20 he says “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to
wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your
enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink;”[CITATION Bib1714 \l 1033 ] We
may live in this world but God tells us to not live in or for the flesh of the world. We must have
the Fruits of the Spirit which we are told in Galatians 5:22-23 are “But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against
such there is no law.”[ CITATION Bib1715 \l 1033 ] We are also told to put on the entire amour
of God, follow the rules and guide lines that God gave us through the Bible, and to Praise God
together as a church.
One of God’s ultimate goals is for all His people to willingly accept and come back to Him.
God is giving everyone the chance to willingly chose to come back to Him, He has the power to
make everyone chose and love Him but He is patiently waiting for those who are still lost to
come to Him without being forced or pressured. He wanted and wants so badly to have a
relationship with all His children that in John 3:16 we can clearly see how badly He wants it “For

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.”[ CITATION Bib1716 \l 1033 ] If we accept Jesus as
are Savior and believe with all our heart that He is the Son of God then we shall be saved and
have a relationship with God. When we accept the gift that is freely given to us from Jesus and
God then when we die we shall spend the rest of eternity in Heaven with God and Jesus. In
Revelation 21:3-4 it talks about some benefits of Heaven “And I heard a loud voice from heaven
saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall
be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every
tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more
pain, for the former things have passed away.”[ CITATION Bib1717 \l 1033 ]
It is important for all Christians to study Romans in depth because Paul writes Romans about
the Biblical worldview and the everyday Christian life foundation. Every religion or business has
a foundation and to understand the religion or business you must first understand the foundation
behind them. Before we can have a Biblical Worldview or minster to others we must first
understand our foundation, where it comes from and how it works. Romans is where we can find
answers to the questions of how and where it comes from. We must remember to read Romans
often so we can keep the information on our foundation fresh in our minds.
