Passage: Acts 19:11-22
A. The passage in Acts 19:11-22 is a strong sign of God's supremacy and
the meaning of confidence as an option for Him. The text portrays how
the messenger Paul showed God's power by mending individuals,
projecting out insidious spirits, and amplifying the name of the God
Jesus. This section demonstrates that God's power is not restricted to
the profound domain but reaches out to the actual domain also.
Moreover, the section features the significance of having confidence as
an option for God. The individuals who needed confidence and
endeavored to utilize the name of Jesus were ineffective, while the
people who had confidence could perform supernatural occurrences
and experience God's power. This section underscores that God's
power is not something that can be controlled or constrained by
people; all things being equal, it is an indication of His heavenly will
and reason. At last, this section fills in as an update that God's power is
accessible to the people who have confidence in Him and will give up
His will. It shows that God is dedicated to the individuals who trust Him,
and His power is accessible to the people who look for Him with a good
nature and unfaltering confidence.
B. Given the entry in Acts 19:11-22, the theological principle of one religious rule that
arises is the showing of God's power and the need for resolute confidence in Him. This
section delineates how God's power rises above both profound and actual domains, as
exemplified through Paul's activities. It accentuates that certified confidence in God's
capacity to act, as opposed to simple human exertion, empowers people to encounter
His wonderful power. Eventually, the standard features the significance of recognizing
God's position and confiding in His heavenly will, perceiving that His power is available
to the people who have relentless confidence and conform to His motivations.
C. The book Acts 13-28 states the Lord's encouraging message “Do not
be afraid any longer but go on speaking and do not be silent”
(MacArthur, p. 142). This message provide reinforcement for the
theological principle emphasized in the passage. This principle
emphasizes the importance of boldness and persistence in proclaiming
the message of faith despite challenges or opposition. It underscores
the idea that fear should not hinder believers from sharing their beliefs
and that they should continue to speak out boldly, regardless of
obstacles. The book of those perilous position. live by faith; and him.
not of those who those have preserving of the soul” (vv. 38– 39). Paul
addressed the following warning to those Galatians seeking to be
justified by keeping the law: “You have been severed from Christ, you
who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace”
(Gal. 5:4). Law-keeping and faith in Jesus Christ are mutually exclusive
ways of seeking salvation. To the Romans Paul wrote, “If it is by grace,
it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer
grace” (Rom. 11:6). Those who seek salvation through works
righteousness forfeit God’s grace and Jesus Christ and are eternally
damned. Hebrews contains several warning passages aimed at in that
They are summed up in chapter 10: “But My righteous one shall if he
shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in But we are shrink back to
destruction, but of who faith to the forfeit God’s grace and Jesus Christ
and are eternally damned.
