Application
1. Sometimes bad things happen as a direct consequence of sinful choices. Other times, we
suffer because of the actions of others, persecution from Satan, or as the result of living
in this fallen world.

tangible success. Job’s story is his specific experience; it is not prescriptive. Many times,
our rewards are spiritual.
