Squares:
1. We all fall short to the glory of God. Everyone of us are born sinners in a fallen world. God's perfect
love is given to us. There will never be a way to earn it or lose it. it is unconditional and everlasting.
2. We have been provided with a basic "how to survive" pamphlet for life, the Bible. God's word has
clearly been recorded for our reference. Some argue that it is simply a "book of rules" that we will always
manage to break because of our sinful nature. However, God knew that we could never measure up to
his standards so he sent His Son to die for us anyway. He gives us several commands throughout the Old
and New Testament. However there are just three basic ones to always remember. Love God, love
people, and make disciples. If we follow these three commands you will become obedient in a Christ like
life.
3. God's purpose was to rescue, restore, and redeem the sinners in this fallen world. God sent Jesus in
the form of a perfect human to die and carry the burdens of our sin to his death. Jesus wasn't surprised
by any of it and yet he was faithful to fulfill God's purpose through His death, burial, and resurrection.
That is how much he loves each and every person.
4. God is not surprised by anything this world offers. He knows every second of the day in each of our
lives. We have free will but God knows our heart and ultimately wants us to pick up the cross and follow
him through it. He is simply waiting on our obedience.
Triangles:
1. (Cartwright & Hulshof, p.32) In a lot of cases, people often reference stories in the bible and look to
certain individuals as "role models" when in fact we shouldn't do that. The only "role model" we should
be focused on is Jesus Christ. All the other individuals should be studied by testimonial basis only. We
can look back on their lives and the impact that Jesus had on them but that should be the idea of it.
2. I am a believer in "once saved always saved". I do not believe that a person can lose their salvation
once they have received Christ into their hearts and lives. With that being said, I do agree with the fact
that we should "die daily". By this I mean, we should make a decision everyday to live a Christ centered
life and to repent of our sinful ways even if this means we have to start every day over.
3. Revelation can be very scary to a person who is saved let alone someone who isn't. Revelation tells us
what to expect in the final days, however, we will not know the exact time or day in which the end of the
world will take place. Therefore, we must be right with God right now and prepare for eternity in Heaven
so that when that time comes, our eternity will be secure.
Circles:
1. I have often wondered that if we didn't have the Bible, would we be so eager and faithful to follow
Christ. We know that we will never have another Savior so the chances of us actually witnessing miracles

even close to the one's Jesus preformed are very slim. We would be going off of myths and stories
passed down through centuries of fallen humans. If we didn't have the Bible, where would we be?
2. How do we really know that our interpretation of God's word is the most accurate one? People often
ask "how do you know if what you believe is true." Our answer is because we can stand witness to God's
love and mercy through our life and testimonies. However, are we understanding his word correctly?
There are so many interpretations of the same book that it can be quite confusing to the believer let
alone the unbeliever.
Heart:
I love the fact that no matter what we can't lose God's love. He is perfect and patient with us when we
don't deserve to be at all. All he wants is for His children to love and rely on Him by being obedient to his
commands. We fall short of him everyday but he continues to show us grace.
