Almost all the religions focus on bringing out the moral life through their holy books.
Values, moral behaviors, love, selfishness, empathy, compassion etc. are some of the
positive acts that all the religions expect from its followers. The fuller view of the
implication of the gospel affects how I live because I believe in life after death. I believe that
one day the way
that we live on earth will impact where we live in the afterlife. I believe in God’s plan to restore
a relationship with His children. The Gospel does not merely help us turn over a new leaf. Thus,
most of these values are expressed through the characters of that time but they are still relevant
to this day because if we compare the humanistic approach in the society, it occurred only very
recently. On the contrary, all these values were introduced thousands of years back, thus
bringing out the importance of not viewing them as inhuman. So, all the religious teachings are
all for everyone thus universal which if people are open would be able to follow them without
looking at the person or the name of the religion that introduced those values. As long as they
are useful to human beings, one could follow them.
