Abstract
In this paper I will briefly explain the cause and effects of temperature inversions. I will provide
various real-life examples so that you can get a clear understanding of where I am coming from.

In life itself for every action there is a reaction, there is a cause to every effect. If you
were to study hard all weekend for your final the effect would be you earning an A+ on the
exam. It’s basically the same thing with the weather we experience daily. For every action there
is a reaction. Imagine the water cycle this process is full of cause and effect sequences.
Evaporation is caused by the sun; the effect of evaporation is condensation leading to
precipitation etc.… I will know explain to you the cause and effect of temperature inversions.
The temperature in the atmospheric layers is moderated through convection cells. The heating
and cooling of air happens due to this convection. Warm air from near the Earth's surface rises at
the low-pressure centers and becomes lighter and cooler as it moves up. The cold air decrease
