projected financial statements for his/her company in Excel Project: Projecting Financial
Statements Assignment. As part of the process of preparing projected financial statements,
students must consider certain factors that will influence the company’s future success. Such
factors include the companys 1) past history, 2) the company’s plans for future growth, 3)
customer demand, 4) governmental regulation, 5) taxation, 6) economic factors, and more.
Prepare a Discussion thread that summarizes the factors that are expected to impact the
company’s financial position in the next three years. The factors identified should be supported

When divulging into the projections of fiscal statement analysis, the future of an
organization’s financial position is central to the assessment of a professional accountant. Having
fully prepared and executed an analysis of Amazon and observed the statistics of their current
and past exchanges, some factors likely to impact Amazon’s financial position in the next three
years are the competitive environment, liabilities affecting liquidity, and the overall future
growth of the company in the US, just to name a few (MarketLine, 2022). A leading factor in
Amazons ability to balance their demand to service ratio is their facilitation of e-commerce,
given “competitive forces… affect a company’s profitability and financial position,” as indicated
by their financial statements (Revsine, 2020, p. 6-1 of 68). Similarly, a study conducted by Yi
Zhao et al. found that competitive approaches to business require a consistently stable strategy,
an area of weakness considering Amazons “[impacted] profit margins” (Zhao et al., 2015;
MarketLine, 2022). Likewise, considering Amazon’s past weaknesses are representative of their
estimable future, their number of present liabilities reached $126,385 million and is expected to
