Cultural Considerations
What are the considerations that you need to be aware of to remain competitive?
As we consider to enter a new market in a country that we need to understand, adopt a
little in order to make sure we could attract customers to buy our products, besides being aware
of the cultural differences we must also consider other factors in order to stay competitive;
cultural awareness is just one of the main factors. The following considerations must be in our
minds as well: the government and their policies, price range of our products, comparison of our
products, competitors, market competition.
- Government: The policies of a government could have a great impact on how our
company will operate in a country. The government could control the competition thru
their approaches. They could give their local business preferences over companies like
FCF.
- Price range: We need to sell our product to our customers, we will sell quality and some
of our competition will too, so we need to make sure to take a look of our competitions
prices too. We need to make sure our price is right; some customers will not buy low
prices items because they might believe that the cheaper the price the quality is low.
- Product comparison: Quality of our products should be our main selling point in the
market, our competition will try the same. Some competitors might add more elements to
a product to charge more, but does not equal quality; we need to concentrate on quality.
