The most interesting thing about myself is my communication skills, more specifically how I solve and deal
with problems. I’m an extremely good communicator and know how to deal with peoples arguments. I love
problem solving and always see a problem from another persons point of view.
6. In general, what do you want for your post-graduate future?
In general, once I graduate I would like to start up my own business, more specifically a clothing line and
make it international in Europe but more specifically Barcelona. If this does not work out I would love to be
an international relations officer. Another thing I would love to do is travel and go to an abundance of places
and experience several cultures.

1) I want to start my own brand within the fashion industry but make a twist on it to where is good
for the environment and the animals. I really want to focus my brand on sustainability and a pur-
pose.
1) My second goal is to graduate from college with at least one internship. I think this would highly influence
the success of my career and development as a professional.
2) My last goal is to get my insurance license this summer in order to work with my mom and make
as much money as I can this summer. I also believe this will help me get more experience and
something to put on my resume.

1) Paying ample attention to my grades this year has helped me a lot to keep my scholarship which will
in turn further my goals and aspirations.
2) Another action I took this year to fulfill my goals was meeting with my mentor and attending career
fairs. This has helped me by knowing the next steps I need to take in order to achieve my profes-
sional goals.
3) My last action that I took to further my goals is attending a Spanish club every Wednesday which
aided in my development of my language skills so therefore I can get more jobs if my Spanish is
more advanced.

Something I learned from these experiences is to never underestimate the power of the resources
around you. I believe all these actions truly benefited my progression in the aspect of my personal goals
and professional goals. Another thing I learned is to get where you want to be with anything, you really
need to work hard to get there. Overall all these actions have given me the strength and confidence to
continue on my journey of success. I love where I’m going and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Something I want to do to move my career forward this next year is to first make an ample amount of
money working with my mom this summer and then to secure a job once I get back to Arizona. Another
thing I want to do is start my own youtube channel and start filming videos as soon as I get back this
summer. Lastly since I do want to launch my own brand in the near future, I would like to work on getting
my business license so that I can start taking the first steps to starting my own brand.

1. One action I will take to to accomplish these goals is first by getting my insurance li-
cense this summer as soon as I get back from Arizona and then I will be able to start
working with my mom and immediately start selling insurance with my mom.
2. Another thing I will do to accomplish these goals is to continue attending my Spanish
club at the start of next semester and continuing to practice my Spanish with my
peers and myself by working alone and understanding the language more and more
everyday.
3. My last action that I’m taking to accomplish these goals is looking into getting my own
business license and beginning to design the clothes and products I want to put forth
for my brand.

It’s important for me to achieve these goals because these goals are everything Ive ever wanted to
achieve since I was a kid. Ive always wanted to be self sufficient and have my own brand and
business because I do want to be my own boss and make youtube videos while also working on
other projects behind the scenes. his kind of career would allow me to creatively express myself.
It’s very important to me that I follow through with my goals and do what I need to do in order to
get where I need to be. If I achieve these goals it would give me extreme satisfaction that I had
achieved what I wanted to.

Strong work ethic
1. Situation: (2 sentences)When I used to work at a Mexican restaurant as a busser, a lot
of times other bussers would not show up. This made it hard to keep up with my
work.
2. Task: (1 sentence) My task was to keep up on cleaning the tables all night without
help.
3. Action: (3 sentences) What I did to face this problem was work as hard as I could.
Eventually when the work got hard to keep up with, the servers offered help. With
the servers helping me and my hard work ethic we made it work.
4. Result: (2 sentences) The night went well and all the tables stayed clean for more business.
At the end of the night the servers gave me extra money for how hard I worked.

Organizational ability
1. Situation: (2 sentences) Another busser I was working with at the time had left the
cups staggered and not in an organized fashion. This was very difficult to deal with.
2. Task: (1 sentence) I needed to figure out a way to keep our station organized with-
out targeting my coworker.
3. Action: (3 sentences) First thing I did was organize the cups. After this, every time
the cups had been cleaned I made sure I was the one who took the cups off the
tray and put them in rows. Another thing I did was set up plates for my coworker
to take out so he spent less time at the station.
4. Result: (2 sentences) As a result the busser station stayed clean and I figured out a system
and a solution. In addition my boss even walked by and gave me a compliment on how
clean the station looked.
