I am from Peoria, Arizona, which is about 30 minutes away from Arizona State. I grew up
a Sun Devil fan and would attend the football games with my Dad because my Dad attended
ASU. I decided to come to ASU because it was so close to my hometown and it was far enough
away from home to still have that college experience. I also chose ASU over U of A because of
the hockey team here. I play hockey and I have played for all the coaches here at ASU and plan
on playing for the team next year. Another reason I chose ASU was because my brother goes to
ASU as well. He's starting his senior year and I thought it would be cool to be around him for his
last year of college and have there to show me what class is which and show me the college life.
I chose ASU because of my goals and what ASU can do for those.
With that being said, my goals aren't super specific but ASU is huge and my biggest goal
here is to meet many great new people and to get a degree. Meeting new people and new
connections are very important and ASU gives that opportunity with so many people to meet.
I've already made a new friend group and it's just nice to meet people from all across the world
and there are such a wide variety of interesting people here. That was my main goal coming
here and so far I feel like I've meet a great group of friends and new connections from all the
across the country. In business, my major, connections are very important.

I chose business because it really interests me what goes on throughout businesses and
how companies can boom and be so huge. I chose business law because I think it's very
interesting and maybe something I could be good. What goes on with business law suites and
that type of deal is something I’m truly interested in. I think I'm interested in law because of my
strengths one of those is definitely arguing. I love to argue anything and love to look up laws or
stats to prove people in an argument wrong and my parents and past relationships have told me
I'm really good and arguing and it's something I enjoy to do.
Law is the best of both worlds because its something I honestly enjoy and law usually
pays solid as well so why not doing something I enjoy and get paid good money for it. My dream
for this business law degree I’m currently working for is to graduate from ASU with my
undergraduate and to go Yale for law school. After law school I want to become a lawyer for a
law firm somewhere on the east coast.
ASU is a great school where I can excel in my business undergraduate degree and
continue to make new friends/connections. I just rushed a fraternity and the kids are from all
across the world so day by day I’m making new connections to help me after college. ASU helps
me get a degree and help me towards my goals while at the same time still having fun and
hosting many events to find exactly what I want to do with my life. They make these events fun
and interactive. ASU is a great school and im glad to call this my Sun Devil story.
