1. Was the introduction and conclusion effective in making this section stand alone as an
essay? Why or why not? What changes do you propose to make the introduction and
conclusion more successful?
The introduction is good as it provides background information on the significance of
nutritious foods and the functions of a nutritionist in grasping the main objective of the essay.
However, the conclusion of the given essay is unsystematic. It should have included a summary
of the essential points discussed in the given essay. To make them even more effective, it is
recommended to highlight critical findings at the end and stress the importance of choosing the
particular career path again. It would also be helpful to add a concluding statement that would
encompass the conclusion of the researchers' path.
2. Did you get a clear indication of how the writer conducted their research? Explain how
one piece of research helped or was ineffective in supporting the thesis of this essay and
why.
The writer clearly stated the method of conducting research, using Google to search for
articles and websites. Thus, the research from All Allied Schools aided in successfully
developing the thesis by presenting a clear description of what a nutritionist is and what skills
they require. These pieces of information were significant for creating the background for the
essay and gaining the idea of the profession. On the contrary, the general information given in
the article by Coursera was less helpful because the article broadly described the education
pathways without going deeper into the consequences of every choice.
3. Name something they did well and why.
3
The writer followed a good organizational pattern while writing the essay, with every
paragraph focusing on a different aspect that a nutritionist entails. This feature independence of
the sections provided a clear and easy-to-follow structure and made it easy to make sure that
each piece of research found was relevant to the topic at hand. Furthermore, the writer included
self-reflecting on how the discoveries relate to the writer's skills and goals, giving this essay a
more personal feel.
4. Name something they need to improve and why.
The writer should enhance the depth of analysis, especially when presenting the research
findings. For this reason, although the essay covers pertinent facts, it frequently fails to give
specifics of why such facts are relevant. For instance, additional information concerning salaries
can include the possibility of the line of work as well as comparing the salaries of professionals
with those of others in the industry. If more critical analysis were included, the overall argument
of the essay would be more solid, and the audience would gain a deeper insight into the subject.
