meet certain needs
What is a team?
•A group whose members work intensely with one another to achieve a specific
common goal or objective
•*Difference is the intensity*
Positives (+) of groups:
•Enhanced performance ex: pitchforks accapella group
•Improved creativity
•Enhanced diversity ex: village of 100 video
Negative (-) of groups:
•Pressure to conform ex: Dead Poet’s Society (marching/walking)
•Pressure to perform at a group mean level
Team think: balancing the “me” with the “we”
Ex: Mr. 3000, considers the team instead of just himself
