For my infographic I decided to go with a vintage looking template because The New
Moon Cafe is located in an old building that serves a lot of history in downtown
Oshkosh. I also tried to limit the words on my infographic but also making sure that my
point gets across. I used simple but descriptive words to persuade my audience that
The New Moon Cafe is a place of great benefits. I limited my pictures to one per section
just so that the reader isn’t too overwhelmed but can also get a better understanding of
my profile. I used persuasive language to convince the reader that The New Moon Cafe
has a large impact on the Oshkosh community and that this particular coffee shop
differs from others. When reading my infographic, the reader learns not only about the
history of The New Moon Cafe but also about different events provided though the short
sections.
The layout of my infographic is super effective in conveying my primary research. Using
titles, bold, and different sections makes it very easier to separate and find different
information when reading about The New Moon Cafe. The different images I added
throughout are effective because they help the reader visualize what I am trying to
persuade in each section. Each section summarizes the information I gathered either

online through their website/social media or things I observed when visiting the cafe.
This particular infographic is accessible for all people in its intended audience because
the information I found through my primary research is credible and reliable. However,
my infographic does lack some information that I observed or read online because it
didn’t fit in the sections. Next time I plan to find a more fitting infographic template for
information versus finding one that is more aesthetically pleasing.
