Edward Said Book summary

Edward Wadie Said was Born on 1st November 1935, in Jerusalem, Palestine. Said completed his graduation in A.B. English from Princeton University and also completed his doctorate in Philosophy from Harvard University. His father, Wadie Said, served military time during World War 1 at The American Expeditionary Forces because of which he and his family were granted American citizenship. Said was highly outspoken about his leftist views and his advocacy for the Palestinian Cause, which earned him both a lot of followers and critiques over the years. He wrote a total of twenty-two books over the course of his life. Some of his notable works include Orientalism (1978), Culture and Imperialism (1993), Out of Place-A Memoir (1999), et cetera.
