Requirements for High Reliability

The staffing of our firm is done in such a way that it will strive towards making our firm a success. The firm has highly qualified staff members who are allowed to participate on job training every now and then to ensure they have sharpened skills and knowledge. Staffs are allowed to carry out research and implement outcome of evidence based researched so as to keep our firm relevant in the health sector. The scheduling process has been made in such a way that there is equal distribution of duties without burdening or overworking some workers to enhance effectiveness in service delivery (Chassin & Loeb, 2013). Each employee has enough off days to ensure they get enough rest which boosts their reliability and efficiency in service delivery. There are certain areas which call for improvement for our firm to remain being highly reliable organization. The human resource personnel of our firm seem to be practicing favoritism to some workers. Some staff members are allowed annual leaves for prolonged periods than workers which have been leading to rifts and hatred between staff members affecting service delivery negatively. This sector needs improvement. The improvement steps which can be employed are that each and every worker should be taken to be equal with each other and given equal periods for annual leaves (Rolim, Koch, Westphall, Werner, Fracalossi & Salvador, 2010, February). The standards for becoming a highly reliable organization helps in improving the quality of health care. The firm should have cultures of safety and exploit on evidence-based practice offering satisfactory working conditions.
