I will base my report on Microsoft Corporation, which is a giant technology company. It is an American based multinational technology company that has its head offices in Washington. The Microsoft primary business strategy deals with promoting and expanding innovation to attain market excellence. Microsoft company creates licenses and works to support a wide range of software devices, computer-related products, and services. The corporation's key segments include business processes and productivity, as well as more individualized computing (Microsoft, 2020). Besides, the leading company products include cross-device capacity applications, desktops, operating systems, server management tools, small and different business solution applications, server applications, software development tools, and also training, and certification of software experts. Also, the company produces and sells devices, such as tablets, private computers, phones, and entertainment and gaming consoles (Dolata, 2017).

The leading company competitors include various prominent technology companies in the field. The list of well-known and established companies in this industry includes; google, apple, Oracle, and IBM, among others. Because Microsoft is a widely diversified company that offers different types of products and services, the company is faced with high competition in numerous significant areas of the technology sector (Dolata, 2017.) Microsoft has its headquarters in Redmond and conducts business in a total of 210 countries across distributed on different continents. The sales are split between the US, a host country with 51%, and other outside countries that provide the rest of sales.

In June 2020, Microsoft released a report stating that Microsoft Azure will become the most favored cloud platform for the Johns Hopkins Health precision medicine initiative. The set five-year deal is set to support Johns Hopkins in coming up with new and improved medical discoveries to patient care and improve disease management. The report was vital as it shows how the company is committed to improving the lives of its customers (Microsoft, 2020). In the long term deal of five years, the contract will profoundly impact the financial income of the company. Through the agreement, Microsoft will also be in a better position to attract new clients who have invested in the health sector. It will, as a result, improve the company's financial situation by generating revenue from newly acquired customers.
