Module Seven
Learning Objectives By the end of this module, you will meet these learning objectives:
Module Overview By now you have established your business model and you are ready to start working on a funding pitch.
There is one more action you should take to help ensure that your business plan is viable and robust and that
your product or service will be successful. You should set up a feedback loop for eliciting and implementing
review and feedback from people within the company, such as the stakeholders and other employees.
Develop and implement feedback loops at different stages of your project to improve and rene your
product or service offering before and after you release it to the customer.
As you plan your project, there is one more element you should consider: customer service and satisfaction.
Plan and develop a feedback loop using different channels to ensure you can capture customer feedback and
concerns in a timely and efcient manner. As important as it is to capture the feedback, it is equally if not
more important to decide how you will address customer concerns about your product or service. The
channels or mediums you will use to collect customer feedback and the process for addressing this feedback
should be planned well in advance to ensure an excellent customer experience from the outset.
When developing feedback loops, be sure to consider the internal communication channels and people who
will be involved in recording, analyzing, implementing, and delivering changes and improvements to the
internal and external customers in your company. For example, let’s say the customer service team receives
a customer complaint. This complaint goes to the product team, which consults the R&D team to devise a
solution. Depending on the time and budget involved, senior management may need to approve the solution
before it is developed and implemented by the project team. In this module, you will develop feedback loops
for your product or service and complete your project by delivering a funding pitch for your business.
