Course Description
This course is designed to educate DNP students on leadership essentials fundamentals. Disagreements are inevitable in healthcare settings; DNP-leaders are expected to implement change in clinical settings to improve patient outcomes and healthcare. Change can be frightening and bring resistance from stakeholders. Communication is the key to leadership. Hence, this class will allow students to explore ways to address complexes issues in healthcare via collaborative approach & how to resolve ethical conflict in healthcare. This course will help the students to identify the nature of conflict, and the role conflict resolution plays in improving performance within an organization. This course aims to help DNP-students identify possible topics prone to disagreement in healthcare and potential obstacles bounded to occur in implementing a DNP practicum project.
