The purpose of the Assignment is to discover what scholars say about the meaning of the passage we are studying.
The assignment will then be inserted into the Interpretive Journey/Analysis project.
This assignment assesses the student’s ability to use Bible Study tools/software to determine the historical-cultural context.
The student is required to use approved Bible software.
Online resources are not permitted as indicated in the homework assignment.
Commentary Assignment
Using the approved Bible software, examine at least THREE commentaries to discover the meaning of difficult verses.
b. Condense the comments in your own words.
Accordance Lite users MUST go to the library to use the full version or purchase at minimum, the Triple Learner Edition.
c. Use each source at least TWICE for a total of six citations.
d. Footnote your sources.
e. Include a Works Cited page as the last page of your Interpretive Analysis.
