Thwarted Attacks

Research recent cases of thwarted domestic terror attacks. Identify the region of the country, specific circumstances, perpetrator(s), and the crimes the individual(s) were charged with. Compare the information you researched with information obtained on international cases. Are the individuals charged with the same or similar crimes? Are the penalties similar? Are the prosecution results and associated sentences similar? Why or why not? Do you think the United States has enough “judicial power” to successfully investigate and prosecute terrorism related offenses?
