 Read Holtz, Chapter 16: “Global Perspectives on Environmental Health” pp. 409–426 at the below website

 Choose one of the following: air pollution, water pollution, or food pollution. 

 Design a 1-page flyer/handout about the specific pollution and its effect on health and 

prevention. 

 It should be geared towards high school students. Be sure to include: explanation of the type 

of pollution you choose, its effects on health, methods of prevention, and include your 

references.
