For this Portfolio Project you are to develop a risk management plan for a medical facility (hospital, medical clinic, or medical office building) that also encompasses emergency management. This facility can be real or fictional-hypothetical. If the latter, be sure to describe in adequate detail.

Your paper should include the following topics (which should be identified by headings):                                            

• Purpose of the RM plan
• Goals of the plan
• Scope
• Definitions and acronyms
• Responsibilities
• Roles of personnel
• Sample RM plan
• Emergency plans for the hospital
• Contingency plans
• Structure of the department
• Recommendations
• Conclusion.

The plan should be in a well-written paper, 8-12 pages in length, and supported by the knowledge from the text and the content of Modules 1 through 8. You should use and cite at least two additional references other than the course textbook and recommended readings in Health Forum. The CSU-Global Library is a great place to find these additional references.
