Review, "The World is Flat - Thomas Friedman,"

Create a series (3 - 4 pages) of diagrams with text-based narrative based on Friedman's assessment, and justify whether or not you agree.

What effect does a flat world have for a person looking for a job?

What could you do to prepare yourself for competing in a flat world?

Include other flatteners not mentioned in Friedman's list

Teachers Suggestions: I am expecting to see a visual representation of a one or more of the 10 forces.  For example, if you select the first one, then I expect to see a timeline of the events leading up to, including and a few post events of it.  If you select the last one, then I expect to see a sample topology on how it is used.  Timelines and topologies are diagrams.  Your diagram or diagrams should show one or more of the flatteners; it does not have to depict all ten.  Your diagram should be functional; therefore, if your diagram shows a business activity, then that will suffice.  Please keep in mind that functional diagrams are procedural in nature; in other words, how to do something or how something is done.

The 4 key elements/main points: • Create at least one diagram with text-based comments based on Friedman’s assessment • Justify whether you agree or disagree with the assessment • What impact does a flat world have for a person looking for a job? • What could one do to prepare themselves for competing in a flat world? Include at least one other flattener not mentioned in Friedman’s list.

Please use these forces out of the ten that I highlighted, you don’t have use all 4, whatever you see the best suitable for the assignment but PLEASE use more than one.
