There are many disabilities that are listed under IDEA’s disability categories. What is their definition for a student who has a hearing impairment? Discuss what games could be picked by the teacher that would properly accommodate this student and still incorporate all other classmates? If you were the teacher and were unable to find any games that provided proper accommodations, what games might you choose that would allow you to instead make modifications so that the student was still able to partake in the activities?
