PLEASE SEE ATTACHED

Goal: The goal for this assignment is to develop a clear synopsis of the methodological approach you propose to use in your study.

Refer to the Research Proposal Guide for details.

Format Requirements: The narrative is to be clear and concise, and you will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. This section of your research paper must be a minimum of 3 pages in length, following APA style (Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced, one-inch margins). Any journals or books should be referenced according to APA style (the library has a copy of the APA publication manual).

Content Requirements: Using the discussions and analyses derived from your previous assignments, develop a clear synopsis of the methodological approach you propose to use in your study. The narrative must be predicated on findings from peer-reviewed sources about your topic and subtopics. This narrative must be completely cited and include the following:

  • Design of the Study. The design of the study fits with the research questions, hypotheses, and levels of measurement of the variables (and can be descriptive survey research, correlational research, experimental research, quasi-experimental research, causal-comparative research, qualitative research, action research, etc.).
  • Instrumentation. Dependent measure(s): The instrumentation section accurately describes any dependent measure that will be used to operationalize the dependent variable or correlational variables. If an actual instrument is used as the dependent measure, describe the instrument, how it’s scored, and its reliability and validity.
  • Statistical Procedures. The statistical procedures fit with the research questions, hypotheses, levels of measurement of the variables, and design of the study.
  • Definitions of Terms.
  • Proposal Summary.
  • References. An APA style reference page consisting of a minimum of 5 refereed articles and/or books is completed.
