Corporate Philosophy

  Performance objectives should be in direct relation with the company’s corporate philosophy. A corporate philosophy helps a company develop a certain corporate culture, ethical practices and strengthens the relationship between employers and employees (Johnson, R. n.d).  Clapton Commercial Construction an already established company in Detroit, MI should use their current corporate philosophy to expand into Arizona when forming performance objectives for employees the objective should be measurable, based on a timeline, attainable and realistic, and clearly worded using action words.  This strategy will help the company maintain their turnover rate as the plan to add more employees to make a full staff in Arizona.

To start the process of the performance management plan they should start with goal setting and training.  When implementing goals, they should be aligned with the strategy and philosophy of the organization and be attainable.
