Etiquette Dinner
Job life is something that totally different than normal life. organized event called (The etiquette dinner) and at this dinner we have learned how to act, dress, and speak during a lunch or dinner interview. However, Having the proper etiquette can make you a top candidate for the job you are seeking with any company. During the etiquette dinner there were many topics that were discussed. First of all we were discussed on how to write and send a professional email. This tip was one of the most important tips that explain why we do not use slang or texting language in the email and how to start writing a professional latters.
Then in the next tip we were talking about how to dress professionally and accordingly for an interview. The professional gave us some examples on what to wear and what not to for the job interview. I have learned that I should always wear a full suit with a jacket. When you are choosing what you are going to wear make sure that it is not loud or flashy as this may distract the interviewer and you don’t want them to remember you because of what you are wearing. The second most important thing that I should follow up is giving a good eye contact to the person who doing the interview I should show my confidence and dealing respectfully.
In conclusion, the etiquette dinner was really helpful and grateful to all the students. Indiana state university gave a huge favor helping them how to act professionally and dealing during the job interview.
