Executive Summary

For this assignment, you will write a 150–200-word Executive Summary of your policy brief. Similar to an Abstract written for academic research papers, the Executive Summary concisely states the purpose of the brief and your recommended policy solution. The Executive Summary should be positioned between the title page and problem statement of the brief.

As the Executive Summary reflects material contained within the body of the brief, no new information or sources are required for this submission; however, use citations where appropriate.

Submission: This segment of the brief must include the Executive Summary only. Follow Turabian style for all components (see Turabian’s Ch. 8, Presenting Evidence in Tables and Figures, and  Appendix: Paper Format and Submission for guidelines and examples).

Submit this assignment by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of Module/Week 6. Late papers will be subject to point deductions as described in the Syllabus.
