Note: I need you to read the following instructions carefully and complete the provided excel sheet accordingly. You also need to make one page word document to answer the question 4 (recommendation part of the instructions). I also attached here the guiding PPT related to fill excel sheet.

The video shows RPAC getting ready for an event. Two people (We will call them Grey and Pink) are laying out chairs. 

Download SW Tab Excel sheet and then answer the questions below.

1.  Complete a Standardized Work Chart to indicate the layout and list the steps in the process.  2.  Do you see any worker variation in the process? If so, describe the differences in how Grey and Pink do their work. List and describe any wastes. Complete a Time Measurement Worksheet for each operator.  Capture the time each takes to complete the steps in the process.  The time measurement worksheet requires up to ten time observations.  Calculate the most likely time for each step to be completed properly.  Transfer these times to the Standardized Work Chart.

3.  Assume that they need to lay out 42 chairs in 7 minutes. Calculate the takt time.  Create a line work balance chart to compare the steps and the operator performance.

4.  Provide at least 3 recommended improvements. Create an Operation Work Standards Sheet incorporating your recommendations. List the operation elements (steps in the process) and identify any key points.  Estimate the amount of time your improved process may save.

Don't forget to make word file and include notes in your standardized work set that will answer the questions asked.
