Meaning of money assignment

Marketing is often measured and expressed in terms of money.  What is the importance and function of money?

There are two parts to this assignment.

First, find ten points from the speech that you found most relevant to topics in  the professor’s modules on prices and profits, or the presentation Competition anti-trust and monopoly. These lecture modules are posted on Blackboard, entitled, Prices and profits, The source of wealth, Mises insights, Hayek insights, Let them eat cake, The wealth of nations. (Please see attachment)

Each point must be numbered.  The points must be direct quotes.  A typical point consists of one or two sentences.  For example, one point would be “When you accept money in payment for your efforts, you do so only on the conviction that you will exchange it for the product of the effort of others.”

Next, for each point, in the paragraph directly following the point, explain how it applies and relates to one topic in the modules and one topic from the Competition presentation.   The terms and topics must be referenced and specific.  For example, “This compares with “Mises insights on profits” paragraph two, “In a socialist state, there were no free market prices”…. “This reminds me of the “Let them eat cake” module because……

Each point should be numbered.  There must be a different reference for each point, a total of 20 different references. 4-8pages

This is not a research paper.  The only sources that should be used are the speech, the modules, and the Power Point lectures.
