This light-hearted video considers a serious question – was it in fact too late for either side to back down?  At the time there were advocates who strongly supported each position.  Loyalty, honor, and economics all influenced people's point of view.

For your initial post, discuss whether you believe that England and the colonies had irreconcilable differences that could only be resolved though military action.  Support your answer with specific examples.

With two other students discuss how economics factored into the decision to break with England.
