The curriculum for California police officers is presented in Table 10-6, on page 303 of Police Administration. It is extensive and addresses numerous areas that are important to police work.  

Which of these areas are most important? Why? How would you alter the curriculum to ensure that officers received adequate training in the most important areas? Is this training adequate to prepare an officer to do his or her job? Why or why not? What is missing, if anything?
