Response Paper - American Religious History

 You are to select one of the following questions and submit a reasoned, researched, and documented answer by the end of this week. 

1. Has American swung too far to the right or to the left in the debate between the separation of church and state?  Why?
2. What is your assessment of Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights movement? What impact has it had upon the religious landscape of America? 
3. How would you define the status of religion in America today?  Are we still 'one nation, under God' or a nation that has lost its religious moorings?  Discuss.

As you respond to the question, remember to support your answer with researched examples. This will be an important factor in your grade. Your response should be 1-2 pages long and inlcude citations for any resources used. You citations must reflect APA style.
